Welcome to Wandrers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wandrers website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Wandrers Platform
Wandrers is an online travel and tour marketplace connecting travelers ("Guests") with verified local guides, community organizers, and tour operators ("Hosts") who offer outdoor activities, day tours, expeditions, and experiences ("Experiences"). We facilitate discovery, booking reservations, and payment coordination between Guests and Hosts.
2. Account Registration & Identity Verification
To book or host Experiences, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Certain outdoor tours, multi-day treks, and community activities require government identity verification (NID/Passport) for security and passenger manifest compliance.
3. Bookings and Payments
When you book an Experience, you enter into a direct agreement with the Host. You agree to pay all charges associated with the booking. Payments on Wandrers are conducted through verified local payment channels (including bKash, Nagad, Bangla QR, or direct bank deposits). After submitting payment details (TrxID / receipt verification), your reservation is held pending verification by the host or platform administrators.
4. Cancellations, Refunds & No-Shows
Cancellation rules and refund timelines are specified by Hosts on each Experience listing page. Cancellations cannot be processed for experiences that have already started or departed. If an experience is cancelled by a Host, Guests receive a full refund or credit toward another departure.
5. User Conduct & Safety
You agree to use the Platform respectfully and in a lawful manner. Fraudulent payment submissions, abusive behavior toward hosts or fellow travelers, and unauthorized circumvention of platform bookings are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.
